2. Using this website

You may use this website to find out about our services and to contact us. You must not use it in a way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, or that infringes the rights of anyone else.

3. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about rendering, texture coating and plastering. It is not advice about your particular building. The sample finishes and drawings shown are illustrations only and do not represent actual colours, textures or completed projects.

We take reasonable care to keep the information accurate and current, but we may change it at any time without notice.

4. Quotes and work

Nothing on this website is an offer to carry out work at a particular price. Any quote we provide will be given to you separately in writing, and the scope, price and terms in that quote, together with any written agreement between us, will govern the work. If there is any inconsistency between those documents and these website terms, the quote or agreement applies.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). These include guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, will be reasonably fit for any purpose you make known to us, and will be supplied within a reasonable time.

For a major failure with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 5 above, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its general information, including any indirect or consequential loss.

Where our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having the services supplied again.

7. Intellectual property

The text, design, drawings and layout of this website are owned by or licensed to Platinum Finish Rendering Pty Ltd. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce or republish any part of the website without our written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or withdraw access to this website, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also stop responding to communications from anyone who uses the website in breach of these terms. Sections 5, 6, 7 and 9 continue to apply after your use of the website ends.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria (VIC), Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts that may hear appeals from them.
